Two New Tanners

Isthmian League Premier Division club Leatherhead have announced the signings of Craig McGee and Andrew Briggs for the 2020/21 season.

Tanners supporters may recognise Briggs from being with the club previously.

The defender returns to Fetcham Grove from Isthmian South East side East Grinstead Town, having made the reverse journey in September 2019.

He originally joined the Tanners in January 2019 from Sutton United where he made a handful of appearances in the National League having come through the U`s youth system.

Briggs is a 19-year-old midfielder who joined Southern Combination League Premier Division side Lancing in February 2020 from Isthmian South East outfit Burgess Hill Town.

He had been with the Hillians since July 2019 after arriving from Eastbourne Borough having made 20 appearances in the National League South in 2018/19.

He is a former Brighton & Hove Albion academy player and Mansfield Town scholar.
