Dawson Does a U-Turn and Leaves Hornets
Isthmian League South East Division club VCD Athletic have signed defender Lea Dawson, despite being confirmed as remaining with Isthmian League Premier Division side Horsham a couple of weeks back.

Dawson joined the Hornets in July 2019 from Cray Valley PM.

 

He had signed for Cray in February 2019 after being with Ashford United since the start of the 2018/19 season, having arrived from Cray Wanderers.

 

And he was an unused sub for Cray Valley in the 2019 FA Vase Final at Wembley.

 

He was the Wands skipper for three seasons and won the supporters` player of the year in 2016/17 and finished runner-up in 2017/18.

 

He made 134 appearances over the three seasons, scoring 20 goals as Cray made the Isthmian North and South play-offs.
