The 35-year-old joins the Puritans having recently featured in the squads for Brackley Town`s Vanarama National League North play-off campaign which ended in disappointment for a third time.

Langmead joined Brackley in June 2019 from National League side Harrogate Town.

He had signed for Harrogate the previous summer after his departure from Nuneaton Borough.

The majority of his career appearances came in the Football League for Shrewsbury Town, for whom he appeared over 200 times between 2004 and 2010.

He also wore the colours of Preston North End, Peterborough United, Northampton Town and Ebbsfleet United.

Manager Andy Whing told https://www.banburyunitedfc.co.uk: “We’re absolutely delighted to get someone of Kelvin’s quality and professionalism on board. He brings a wealth of experience but more importantly a hunger and desire to play for Banbury United”.
