....midfielder Ben Jago, forward Zach Hardacre, forward Jamie Colebourn and defender Lee McConchie.
Jago joins Bootle from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League West side Radcliffe FC, but prior to his time at Stainton Park, the central midfielder was an academy scholar at Tranmere Rover where he made two appearances in the Football League.
Also, during his time at Rovers, Jago had two loan spells, the first being with Hyde United, before the former Liverpool Schoolboys captain headed `north of the border` for Annan Athletic of the Scottish Second Division.
Jago made 13 appearances for Annan, scoring once on his debut against Elgin City.
He was released by Tranmere in May 2016 and signed for Welsh Premier outfit Llandudno, moving to Radcliffe in October 2017.
Jago featured in the Bucks first pre-season against Pilkingtons on Saturday and manager Phil Stafford told his club`s website: “I’m delighted to secure the services of Ben and welcome him to the club.
“Signing Ben is a massive coup for us, as he had plenty of other offers elsewhere. He’s a deep-lying midfielder who likes to get on the ball and very rarely gives it away.
“I’m very much looking forward to working with Ben, and I believe this type of signing shows our ambitions for the forthcoming season.”
Hardacre joins the club from NWCL Division One side AFC Liverpool.
As well as spending time with AFC, Hardacre has also had spells with Northern Premier League side Witton Albion and Liverpool County Premier League outfit Bryom.
Stafford added: “I’m delighted to finally land Zach. He is a player I have been chasing for the last three seasons.
“He’s a forward with great pace and work ethic and will give us additional options in attack. He offers exactly what I am looking for in my attacking line and I can’t wait to work him in the coming season.”
Colebourn joins the Bucks from Cammell Laird 1907, but is no stranger to the club, having played for both the youth and reserves in the early stages of his career.
He has also seen service with Litherland REMCYA after originally being on the books at Morecambe.
McConchie joins the Bucks from AFC Liverpool, where he captained the side on numerous occasions last season and was ever-present in the Reds backline.
Both men are also no strangers to manager Phil Stafford, having both played for him during his tenures at Maghull and Litherland. |
