New Management Team for Riversiders
East Midlands Counties League club Barrow Town have announced the appointment of Keith Palmer and Dave Long as their new management team.

They take over from Kris Nurse, who recently stepped down from the role.

Appointed just over a year ago, Nurse guided the Riversiders to a top-half finish in a season that was ultimately cut short due to the pandemic, and to the semi-finals of the League Cup that were never played.

However, with the uncertainty over the start date of the new campaign and increased work commitments, Nurse took the decision to step down ahead of the restart, along with his assistants Joe Shaw and Michael Paparozzi.

Palmer and Long take the reins and will lead the Riversiders in the 2020/21 East Midlands Counties League campaign.
