Arriving at Julius Martin Lane is Ryan Auger, who joins from Evo-Stik Southern League East side Bedford Town.

The 24-year-old midfielder previously had two loan spells with the Greens towards the end of the 2011/12 season, before returning for the start of the following campaign whilst with Southend United.

Auger worked his way through the Shrimper’s youth academy to play in the Football League, prior to having spells with Bishop`s Stortford, Histon and Cambridge City before joining Bedford.

Also re-signing for the new season are player-manager Rob Mason, player/assistant-manager Erkan Okay, along with Alfie Connor, Ally Conway, Will Gardner, Marcus Hall, Jack Mochalski, Sam Mulready and Harry Norman.

A number of other players have also agreed to return and will re-sign once they return from holidays.

Three players who won’t be returning to the Greens this season are Lewis Clayton, Gary Cohen and Craig Gillies.

Clayton leaves having moved away from the area to re-locate to Wales.

The midfielder signed at the start of last summer from Histon, scoring 6 goals in 46 appearances.

After recently announcing his departure from the club, Cohen has signed for league rivals Barking.

Having spent the majority of last season on loan at Soham from Southern League Central side King`s Lynn Town, Gillies has signed for March Town United.

The striker finished last season as the club’s top goalscorer, finding the net 14 times in his 35 appearances.
