Kedwell
spent last season playing in the Vanarama National League South at Havant &
Waterlooville – three levels above the SECL.
Kedwell,
who recently turned 37, returns to his home county of Kent having been with the
Hawks since July 2019.
He
played for a host of Kent clubs before making his breakthrough at Herne Bay and
Welling United, scoring 40-plus goals for the Wings between 2005 and 2007.
A
season at Grays Athletic, then in the Conference Premier, followed before a
move to AFC Wimbledon in 2008 saw him help fire the Dons into the Football
League, averaging almost a goal every other game, netting 67 times in three
seasons.
In
2011 he moved to Gillingham for an undisclosed fee and was top scorer in the
season the Gills won the League Two championship.
His
signing by Ebbsfleet United in January 2015 caused ripples around non-League
football at the time.
Fleet
skipper in 2016/17 and the man who lifted the promotion trophy that season, he
passed 150 games for the club in 2018.
Despite
constantly being written off, he played 40 games in 2018/19 and scored 11
goals. |
