One of the best known is midfielder Tom Phipp.

Phipp is a former Arsenal youth teamer who has played for the likes of Ebbsfleet United and Margate where he was a key member of their promotion-winning side back in 2014/15.

He spent part of last season with Southern Counties East League side Crowborough Athletic while he completed his Marketing Degree after leaving Bostik Premier side Tonbridge Angels, who he played for in 2016/17.

Cray have also confirmed the signing of left-back Matthew George.

The 22-year-old started out at Crystal Palace before signing for Lewes in 2016.

He was a member of the Rooks Bostik South promotion-winning side last season.

Another title-winner to switch to Cray is midfielder Sean Roberts.

Roberts joined AFC Hornchurch from the Wands in June 2017 and helped the Urchins to lift the Bostik North championship.

Roberts made 95 appearances for Cray between 2015 and 2017.

Cray have also confirmed that Mitchell Nelson and Jerome Federico have both re-signed for the club after being released last season.

Vastly experienced central defender Nelson made 47 appearances scoring 6 goals and part of a defence which conceded 18 goals last season before leaving Wands towards the end of the season.

Federico made 25 appearances as a winger for Cray last season before being released in January.

The former Kingstonian and Hampton & Richmond Borough man was a very popular player with the fans, so his return will be welcomed.
