After suffering relegation at the end of last season, Trinity are building a tremendous attacking force to unleash on the division.
Already boasting last season`s top scorer Ashley Worsfold, who has re-signed for Trinity, manager Lee Sinnott has since added former Lincoln City hot-shot Alex Simmons and the experienced former Altrincham forward Damian Reeves.
And now he has pulled off another coup by re-signing Ross Hannah following his recent release from Vanarama National League North side Chester FC.
The 32-year-old, Sheffield-born Hannah was in his second spell at Chester, although he finished last season on loan with Southport.
Originally joining Chester in 2015 from Grimsby Town, he made 42 appearances before transferring to Barrow AFC for the 16/17 season.
He started his career as a junior both at Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United.
During a stint in non-League football, he won the `golden boot` for Matlock Town in the Northern Premier League.
He signed his first professional contract for Bradford City in 2011, where he made 19 League appearances.
His other former clubs include Stocksbridge Park Steels, from where he first joined Gainsborough on a month`s loan before moving to the Northolme on a more permanent basis in 2006.
Moves to Hednesford Town and Belper Town preceded his arrival at Matlock. |
