Vanarama National League South club Wealdstone won their first game of their 2018/19 pre-season on Monday night after a 1-0 win over Bostik League South Central side Marlow at the Alfred Davis Memorial Ground.

 

Dave Pratt scored the only goal of the game.

 

A notable returned to the Stones line-up was Luke Williams, who had spent the past six months out with injury and he played the full 90 minutes.

 

The Stones` league rivals Hampton & Richmond Borough beat Evo-Stik Southern League South side Harrow Borough 1-0 in a game played at Bedfont Sports Club.

 

The only goal came shortly after half-time from Shaquille Hippolyte-Patrick.

 

The Beavers` new league rivals, Dulwich Hamlet, won 3-1 at Bostik Premier new boys Haringey Borough.

 

Byron Lawrence and that well-known player – A Triallist with two – were the Hamlet scorers.

 

Another National League South outfit, Hemel Hempstead Town, won 5-1 at Bostik South Central side Hayes & Yeading United.

 

The Tudors on the mark were Scott Shulton with two, Alex Osborn, Phil Roberts and Matt Saunders.

 

National League side Maidstone United enjoyed a 5-0 win at the Fullicks Stadium against Bostik Premier outfit Folkestone Invicta.

 

In the second period, Jack Paxman added a third 3 minutes in, and David Ajiboye on 82 minutes and Stuart Lewis in the last-minute completed the scoring.

 

The Stones newest signing, striker Joe Quigley, took only 5 minutes to open his account and Blair Turgott added a second 2 minutes before the break.

 

Maidstone`s Kent league rivals Dover Athletic sneaked a 1-0 win at Reachfields against Bostik South East side Hythe Town.

 

A terrific free-kick from Kadell Daniel won it for the Whites.

 

Southern League Central side St Neots Town went down 5-1 at home to SkyBet League Two MK Dons with Dion Sembie-Ferris` 20-yard effort being the Saints` only goal of the evening.

 

Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One West side Cheltenham Saracens held a side from League One neighbours Cheltenham Town to a 3-3 draw.

 

Southern League West side Wimborne Town ran out comfortable 8-0 winners at Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) One hosts Verwood Town to win the Steve Moore Memorial Trophy.

 

The Magpies produced a very promising performance and were able to give three of their under-18 team a run-out too.

 

Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division Maltby Main edged a Sheffield United XI 3-2 at Muglet Lane.

 

Ryan Carroll, Steve Hopewell and Jay Evison for Main, with the Championship outfit replying through George Cantrill.

 

Southern Counties East Leaguers Deal Town shared a 2-2 draw with a Gillingham XI.

 

Connor Coyne equalised for Deal on 68 minutes and that man again – A Triallist - levelled from the penalty spot 9 minutes from time after the Gills had gone 2-1 up.

 

Toolstation Western League Premier Division Buckland Athletic beat South West Peninsula Leaguers Cullompton Rangers 3-1 with goals from new signing Les Afful from the spot, Lewis Tasker and Josh Webber.

 

JD Welsh Premier side Carmarthen Town won 4-0 at Gwent County League Division One Cwmbran Town.
