The 19-year-old joined the Ravens on loan from SkyBet League One side Shrewsbury Town in the early part of last season and quickly became a regular fixture in Adam Stevens` side.

Playing in midfield or at left-back, Taylor impressed the town faithful so much that he went on to win the 2019/20 supporters` player of the year award during the end of season lockdown 'zoom meeting'.

After his departure from Shrewsbury earlier this summer he has been a top target for Stevens, especially with the news that former left back Scott McManus was stepping down from this level of football.

Taylor has been training with the squad for most of pre-season and featured in the game at Stafford Rangers on Tuesday night.

Despite interest from a Vanarama National North club, he has committed his future to the Ravens.
