The
31-year-old joins the Urchins after departing Vanarama National League South
outfit Chelmsford City in May after scoring 12 goals in 2019/20 before lockdown.
Higgins
re-joined Chelmsford in the summer of 2019 following the relegation of the
Clarets former league rivals East Thurrock United.
He
previously featured for City in the 2010/11 season where he made 28
appearances, scoring 16 goals.
The
striker has also featured for the likes of Concord Rangers, Bromley and had
brief spell with Canvey Island.
He
has, however, spent the large majority of his career with local side East
Thurrock, establishing himself as a cult hero during spells in the 2011/12
season and from 2014/15 up until the end of 2018/19, scoring 275 goals in
total.
He
was also a part of the East Thurrock squad that won the 2018/19 BBC Essex
Senior Cup. |
