First to commit was Robbie Parker.

Parker joins from fellow Southern Central side Biggleswade Town.

The hard-working and energetic midfielder has been an ever-present figure during the last two seasons with the Waders and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and understanding of Step 3 football.

It is the fifth time that the 23-year-old has followed assistant boss Craig Adams.

Originally with Northampton Town as a youngster, Parker was signed by Adams for Wellingborough Town, Bedford Town and Rugby Town where he was manager and then re-joined Adams at Biggleswade when he was assistant-manager.

Joe Hood is a right-back who completed a two-year scholar at Peterborough United before moving to America for a year.

He then spent last season at Mildenhall Town, impressing in their first season in the Bostik League North.

Jarvis Wilson is a centre-back who can also operate as a defensive midfielder.

He has spent the last two years as a scholar at Northampton Town and joins the Ives as he starts a new chapter in his career in the non-League game.

Former Cambridge United professional Jordan Patrick, who can operate as a wide player or full-back, has a wealth of knowledge at Southern League level and will bring valuable experience both on and off the pitch.

He is another to follow Adams from Biggleswade, where he spent the previous two seasons.

As well as Cambridge United, the 27-year-old can also count Cambridge City, Arlesey Town, St Albans City, Barton Rovers, Bedford Town, Bury Town, Needham Market and St Neots Town amongst his other former clubs.

Meanwhile, a couple of familiar faces have returned to the club for next season.

Tom McGowan was one of the Saints` stand-out players in the club`s first season at Step 3 level and had a big impact at the start of last season before having to take a break to focus on his business.

Secondly, returning to the club is Mark Coulson.

Thirty-two-year-old left-back Coulson spent a few months with the club the season before last.

The vastly experienced former Peterborough United professional spent time with Dunstable Town, Lewes, Bedford Town, Histon, Hemel Hempstead Town, Biggleswade, Arlesey Town, Bury Town and Cambridge City, where he ended last season in a second spell.

Coulson will again bring valuable experience to the team and defensive line.
