Experienced goalkeeper Craig Ellison (pictured) joins the Tigers from NPL Division One North West club Runcorn Linnets.

The 32-year-old had joined the Linnets in late January 2020 from North West Counties League side Congleton Town.

The 6`4” keeper has experience with Burscough, Vauxhall Motors, Droylsden, Witton Albion, FC Halifax Town, Garforth Town, Curzon Ashton amongst others, and has also played in Brazil and USA for Miami Dade.

He took up coaching in 2009, founding `Reflect Goalkeeper Academy`.

Thomson was snapped up by Vanarama National League North side Chester FC in the summer of 2018 following his release from Tranmere Rovers as an under-16.

A right back, he played the full 90 minutes in Chester`s last two games of the 2017/18 season against Maidstone United and Barrow AFC.

He had an impressive run in the first team during the 2018/19 season before an injury at Hereford saw his progress curtailed and he struggled to force his way back into the side, heading out on loan to Bamber Bridge in 2019/20.

Hamzat is a young centre-back or left-back and is another player who has impressed in pre-season.

The 19-year-old was released by SkyBet League One side Rochdale recently.

He had come through the Dale ranks to become a regular in the under-18s.

Chinedu Uche is a 21-year-old central midfielder who came through the ranks at Oldham Athletic, turning professional in the summer of 2018.

He was released though in October 2019 when he signed for NPL Division One South East outfit Glossop North End.
