Baker joins having played in the pre-season fixtures against Hucknall Town, Basford United and Heanor Town.

Gordon (pictured) played for 45 minutes against Basford and arrives at Grange Park after he left Northern Premier League Division One South East side Belper Town last week.

The midfielder arrived at Belper in May 2017 on the back of successful spells at a number of clubs, including Heanor Town, Mickleover Sports and at Ilkeston FC where he donned the captain’s armband during a difficult time in the club’s history.

Baker previously represented Ilkeston for seven years before stints at Grantham Town, Buxton and Redditch United.

The defender came through the ranks at Ilkeston’s academy and went on to captain the side in 2015 and knows the Midland League well as he was a part of the Robins team that won promotion from the Premier Division in the 2018/19 season, making 29 appearances and scoring 4 goals.
