Pitching
In Isthmian League North Division club Felixstowe & Walton have added two
more players to their squad.
Returning
to the Seasiders is attacking midfielder Rhys Henry.
The
experienced 31-year-old left Felixstowe in July 2019 to re-join Southern League
Premier Division Central side Leiston.
He
played an integral part in helping Leiston win the Isthmian North title in the
2011/12 season and also played in the Blues first season of Step 3 football and
made 95 appearances in his first spell, scoring 21 goals.
After
starting out with Ipswich Town and Southend United, he has also had spells with
a number of local clubs including Maldon & Tiptree, Harlow Town, Needham
Market, AFC Sudbury and Bury Town.
At
the other end of the experience scale, highly-rated 17-year-old Tyger Smalls (pictured) joins
the Seasiders from Essex Senior League side Saffron Walden Town, who he signed
for in December 2019 from Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division outfit Haverhill
Rovers.
In
March, just before lockdown, the talented teenager, who was part of the youth
set-ups at two top-flight clubs between the ages of 9 and 12 before leaving of
his own accord due to non-footballing related matters, linked up with Premier
League Arsenal`s under-23 squad at their London Colney training base.
Smalls
also spent time training with a professional foreign side in February and was the
subject of interest from a plethora of clubs at home and abroad.
