Forward
Bacon has re-joined league rivals Mickleover FC on loan until January 2021,
with the Derbyshire outfit having the option to make the move permanent in the New
Year.
Bacon (pictured) signed for Trinity in December 2019 for an undisclosed fee from Vanarama
National League North side Alfreton Town.
The
25-year-old made the step up with Alfreton from Bottesford Town in June 2018.
He
had netted a sensational 45 goals in the Northern Counties East League Premier
Division, attracting the attention of several clubs.
Apart
from a previous spell with then-named Mickleover Sports, he has also been on
the books at Scarborough Athletic.
Smythe,
a summer addition, links up with NPL Division One South East side Worksop Town
on a permanent basis.
The
left-sided player impressed the Trinity management in early in pre-season, but
having sought assurances of regular football, opted to move down the A57.
Smythe
joined Trinity from NPL Division One North West side Pontefract Collieries,
where he had been since July 2018.
He
developed a growing reputation in the game from spells with Handsworth
Parramore and Rainworth Miners Welfare before helping AFC Mansfield to
promotion from the Northern Counties East League in 2017/18. |
