Modest Signing for Colls
Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One North West club Pontefract Collieries have signed experienced striker Nathan Modest.

Modest, who turns 29 later this month, signed for Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division side Barton Town just before lockdown in March 2020 after being with NPL Premier Division Mickleover since the summer of 2019.

 

He joined Sports after spending the 2018/19 season in the NCEL with Bridlington Town, scoring over 20 goals.

 

He has previously played in the Football League for Sheffield Wednesday where he made 4 appearances between 2008 and 2011, having graduated through the Wednesday academy and reserve teams, making his first team debut in December 2008, aged 17 years and 82 days.

 

He has also played for England Schoolboys and later playing for Sheffield FC, Worksop Town, Lincoln United, Gloucester City, Hednesford Town, AFC Telford United, Evesham United and Rainworth Miners Welfare.
