Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Wimborne Town have signed young forward Lewis Beale on a month`s loan from Vanarama National League side Eastleigh.

The 20-year-old has come through the ranks at the Silverlake Stadium, making his first team debut in 2018/19 and then scoring his first senior goal against Matlock Town in the Spitfires’ 2-1 Buildbase FA Trophy Second Round success in January 2020.

 

Portsmouth-born Beale spent two loan spells with Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) One side US Portsmouth.

 

He scored 13 goals in 24 league and cup appearances in 2017/18, while he netted a further 16 goals in 21 outings the following season.

 

He ended the 2018/19 campaign as US Portsmouth’s joint leading marksman with 12 goals.

 

He has also played higher up in the non-League Pyramid last season with loan spells at AFC Totton, for whom he scored 5 times in 11 Southern Division One South appearances and 4 goals in 9 games for Wimborne`s league rivals Metropolitan Police.
