The young ‘keeper was a deadline day loan transfer from Rochdale last season when Marcus Dewhurst was recalled by Sheffield United.

He made 7 appearances in the truncated 2019/20 campaign, keeping three clean sheets as the Lions chased a spot in the play-offs.

Prior to joining Guiseley on loan last season, the 20-year-old was on loan at Barrow AFC.

The Gloucester-born player was raised in Chorley and was associated with Manchester United from the age of 10.

After a spell with Blackburn Rovers he joined Rochdale at age 16.

He signed a professional contract with Dale in the summer of 2018 which was recently extended until 2022.

He has featured in three FA Youth Cup campaigns as well as being a vital part of the side that lifted the EFL Youth Alliance League North-West title with Rochdale last season.
