Slinn (pictured) arrives from NPL Division One South East side Newcastle Town.
The
21-year-old had joined Castle in February 2020.
He
is a product of the youth ranks at Port Vale and enjoyed a highly successful
loan spell with Southern League Premier Division Central side Rushall Olympic
in 2017/18.
He
joined the Walsall development squad in the summer of 2018 but was allowed to
return to Rushall for the 2018/19 season for regular competitive action.
He
was released by Walsall in the summer of 2019 and signed for Mickleover`s
league rivals Atherton Collieries before returning to the Midlands with another
Southern Premier Central side, Alvechurch, in October 2019.
An
attacking right-back, Smith joins from Toolstation Northern Counties East
League Premier Division side Handsworth.
He
made 18 appearances in the truncated 2019/20 season for Handsworth having spent
the previous two seasons with Retford United where his hard-running style
attracted many admirers. |
