The
37-year-old joined Billericay in February 2017 and helped them to promotion.
He
started his career at Brentford and made his senior debut in November 2002. However,
after making 16 League appearances in three years, in February 2005 he signed
for his first stint with then-National League side Stevenage.
Over
three-and-a-half years, he made 141 appearances in the top tier of non-League
football and played in the 2004/05 Conference Promotion Final defeat against
Carlisle United and was voted 2005/06 supporters` player of the year, and, won
the FA Trophy against Kidderminster Harriers at Wembley in May 2007.
A
year later, he took an opportunity to play in League Two with Gillingham. In an
eventful three years, he made 73 League appearances, experiencing promotion to
League One in his first season followed by a subsequent relegation in 2009/10.
He
was released by the Gills in June 2011 and returned to Stevenage for his second
spell, but, during 2011/12, only made 4 appearances.
A
move to then-National League Newport County followed in July 2012. However, his
time at the club was hampered by an injury and he appeared 12 times for the
Exiles in 2012/13.
In
July 2013, he returned to Kent, joining Dartford and although voted player of
the season, he couldn`t stop the club being relegated although a very late
August reprieve secured the club’s status in the top tier.
Via
a short stay at Sutton United, in February 2015, he subsequently joined
National league Bromley, where he would make 88 appearances over two years
before joining the Blues. |
