Chris
Nunn (pictured) has brought in winger Kamal McEwan and young midfielder Leon
Chambers-Parillon.
McEwan
is a 27-year-old who started off in the academy at Vanarama National League outfit
Boreham Wood.
Since
then he has had spells with North Greenford United, Staines Town, Southall,
Marlow United and Northwood.
However,
his time with the latter lasted just 2 minutes as, when making his debut in a
League Cup tie at Godalming Town in October 2014, he dislocated a shoulder when
tackled early in the game and ended up in A&E.
Chambers-Parillon
has joined the Waders on `work experience` from League One side Oxford United.
The
second-year central midfielder has previously spent time at Luton Town and
Aston Villa and was on `work experience` with the Waders` league rivals AFC
Rushden & Diamonds for part of last season.
A
strong technical ball player who impressed during the U’s FA Youth Cup run in
2018/19.
He
has been a regular for the under-18 and under-21 sides for the last two years
and is currently a rarity- a third-year scholar with the U’s after his
scholarship was extended due to the Covid situation.
