Rivals Move for Turner
Scarborough Athletic have signed midfielder Lewis Turner from Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division rivals Matlock Town.

The 28-year-old had only joined the Gladiators in July from Vanarama National League North side Farsley Celtic having previously been with Chester when they won the National League North title.

 

He started his career with Leeds United, where he progressed to turn professional in August 2011.

 

He spent the 2013/14 season on a season`s loan with Chester and then signed for Harrogate Town un the summer of 2014 following his release by Leeds.

 

He joined Farsley in November 2017 and has recently recovered from an ACL operation.
