Paddy
Lacey is a 27-year-old hard-tackling central midfielder and an experienced
player after enjoying spells at Altrincham, Accrington Stanley, as well as
enjoying National League North success with Barrow in 2014/15 during his
three-year stint at the Bluebirds.
He
signed for Chester`s rivals Southport in January 2019 after a period out of the
game and then joined Northern Premier League Premier Division outfit
Stalybridge Celtic in late January 2020.
Bradley
Bauress (pictured) is a gifted left-footed midfielder who started his career in the youth
ranks at Blackburn Rovers, gaining the captaincy of the under-21 side in the
process.
The
24-year-old spent time at Colwyn Bay followed by a successful spell at Witton
Albion, where he was top scorer in their 2016/17 promotion season.
This
was preceded by a move to Barrow in the National League which is where he spent
the 2017/18 season before signing for Southport in July 2018.
Twenty-six-year-old
Luke Clark re-unites with Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley on an initial
short-term deal.
His
last club was league rivals Curzon Ashton, and prior to this he was at Salford
City – having played an instrumental role in the Ammies’ promotion to the
National League North back in 2016, making 37 appearances.
His
career began with his boyhood club Everton before he went on to feature for
Preston North End and Accrington Stanley.
In
addition, Chester have also signed two exciting young players.
Nineteen-year-old
England Schoolboy Ethan Cartwright has joined the Deva and can play anywhere
across midfield.
He
was part of the 2019 English Colleges Football Association squad and had spells
with Newcastle Town and Hanley Town and has impressed throughout pre-season.
Also
joining the club on dual registration basis with Northern Premier League
Premier Division neighbours Warrington Town is former Mansfield Town forward
Iyrwah Gooden.
The
20-year-old spent last season with Ramsbottom United after a successful loan
spell the previous term, scoring 8 goals in 29 games.
