Wares Borrow Stones Keeper
Spartan South Midland League Premier Division club Edgware Town have announced a new signing and several re-signings.

Goalkeeper Alfie Bonfield joins the Wares on a long-term loan deal from Vanarama National League South neighbours Wealdstone.

 

Bonfield has previous experience at Edgware, having been a part of 2015/16 title-winning team, and playing on occasions last season on dual registration.

 

He has made the substitutes bench several times for the Stones in the past couple of seasons, and represented Middlesex at youth level.

 

The Wares also re-signed several of last season`s squad, including skipper Dan Pett, Mikkel James, young player of the year Rio Beech, winger Ethan Moonay, midfielder Andrew Manitou, Ryan Carruthers, former Hendon under-23 duo Perry Aitchison and Ben Gray and veteran defender Fergus Moore.
