Pitching In Isthmian League South East Division club Faversham Town have re-signed midfielder Sam Berwick.

The 23-year-old moves to the Aquatherm Stadium from league rivals Herne Bay, who he had only signed for in July.

 

He spent the 2019/20 season at Southern Counties East League Premier Division side Corinthian, helping them reach the semi-finals of the FA Vase.

 

He possesses a wealth of Isthmian League experience having previously played for the Bay as well as Faversham where he finished as their top scorer from the centre of midfield with 17 goals.

 

A former Queens Park Rangers academy player, he has also been at Hythe Town.

 

Meanwhile, earlier Faversham announced the return of fans favourite Matt Bourne.

 

Bourne (pictured) re-joins after a brief spell with Southern Counties East League Premier Division side Sheppey United.

 

He left for league rivals Ashford United in November 2019 having made an 416 competitive appearances for Faversham.
