New Centre-Back for Vickers

Pitching In Isthmian League South East Division club VCD Athletic have announced the signing of centre-back Geof Okonkwo.

Okonkwo had signed for Isthmian South Central side Staines Town in the summer and made 4 appearances for the Swans.

He joined Isthmian Premier outfit Cray Wanderers in late August 2019, making the short journey from Cray Valley PM to join the Wands.

He had signed for the Southern Counties East League champions earlier in the summer after leaving relegated Greenwich Borough.

He switched to then-Isthmian South East side Greenwich in March 2019 from Isthmian North outfit Grays Athletic.

After breaking into the Grays first team towards the end of the 2018/19 season, the young defender started 20 games for Grays before moving on.
