Having already scored twice for the Cobblers this season, the 28-year-old now ventures to Somerset, looking for a consistent run of first-team football.

The attacker is no stranger to the non-League circuit, playing for Curzon Ashton, Salford City and Stockport County in the National League North.

The 2018/19 season saw Warburton secure promotion to the National League with Stockport County as the Hatters won the National League North.

Warburton netted 18 league goals in the process, and hit 25 in all competitions, averaging just shy of a goal every other game.

However, he would not stay in Stockport to enjoy National League football, stepping up to the EFL for the first time in his career signing for Northampton.

He helped the Cobblers saw to win the League Two play-offs, beating Exeter City in the final.
