Kiwomya had a previous spell at the club, scoring 4 goals in 14 appearances whilst on loan from SkyBet League One side Doncaster Rovers two seasons ago.

Kiwomya, who is the nephew of former Arsenal and Ipswich Town striker Chris Kiwomya, was at Chelsea from the age of 14 but failed to make a first-team appearance.

A former England under-16, 17, 18 and under-19 international, he had loan spells with Barnsley and Fleetwood Town and then spent the 2016/17 season on loan at Crewe Alexandra, scoring 7 goals in 34 League Two appearances before being released by Chelsea and signing for Doncaster in the summer of 2017.

His first year with Doncaster saw Kiwomya’s (pictured) career put on hold, having contracted the rare auto-immune disorder Guillain-Barré syndrome which required intensive fitness work to recover from.

But after his recovery, he failed to break through for successive managers at Rovers, making just 8 appearances as well as loan stints at Chorley and the Spireites.

Denton, 25, is a left-sided player who started his career at Leeds United.

He failed to make a senior appearance whilst at Elland Road but did have loan spells with Port Vale, where he made 15 appearances, and Peterborough United, for whom he played 10 times.

The former England under-17 international moved to League Two outfit Stevenage in July 2019 and appeared 15 times.

Manager John Pemberton told https://chesterfield-fc.co.uk: “It’s pleasing to see them join us and I’d like to welcome Alex and Tyler to the Technique Stadium.

“Alex has the attributes we need, providing us with pace up front. He is able to stretch defenders.

“He knows the club from his time here before and supporters liked him when he was here.

“Tyler has been recruited to help the balance of the team. We needed a left-sided player to share the workload.

“He can play either at left-back or on the left wing. He is experienced and he will bring a different dimension to us as a team”.
