Galinksi, 24, was the driving force behind Grantham Town making the play-off final last season as he skippered the Gingerbreads to a fourth-place finish as they narrowly missed out on promotion from the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League.

The towering centre-half, who played in Monday’s victory against Heath Hayes, started his career with Derby County before joining Boston United, where he played a full season in the National League North – and then Stalybridge Celtic.

After linking up with Alfreton Town in the National League North, the defender joined Grantham on loan in February 2016 before making the move permanent and becoming their club captain.
