The versatile 18-year-old can play all the way down the left-hand side of the pitch and adds some additional options to Mark Bower`s squad that has seen a couple of right-sided players filling on the left during recent games and pre-season.

Boyes, who has enjoyed training time with the Sheffield United first team, is highly regarded at the club and are they keen for him to develop whilst playing competitive men’s football.

He will have to wait for the opportunity to make his debut until Avenue`s re-arranged fixture with Hereford FC away on the 27th October.
