international Kelly returns to his home-town club from Vanarama National League
side Wrexham.
He made 43
appearances for the Dragons after joining them, having been released by Forest
Green Rovers in the summer of 2017 after originally being signed by former boss
David Hockaday following a trial in the summer of 2013.
He then went on to
make some 125 appearances for the New Lawn outfit in four years, after stints
with Oxford United, Kettering - where he made 84 appearances from January 2010
to July 2012 - Mansfield Town and Tamworth.
Born in Kettering,
he started out as a youngster with Rushden & Diamonds, going on to play
over 150 times for the sadly now defunct club, making his debut against AFC
Bournemouth in 2004.
A short spell with
Oxford United followed in 2009, before an extended stay with home-town side
Kettering Town.
He then spent the
2012/13 season with Tamworth before joining Forest Green – where he was voted supporters`
and players` player of the year and won the club's goal of the season award in
his first season with the club.
