Fitzpatrick Goes to the Met
Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division South club Metropolitan Police have signed experienced midfielder David Fitzpatrick.

The 25-year-old started last season with the Met`s league rivals and neighbours Walton Casuals and then switched to another league rival, Farnborough, in late January 2020.

 

Born in Surbiton in Surrey, he played as a youth for Fulham, Staines Town and Hampton & Richmond Borough before joining Queens Park Rangers.

 

He signed a full contract for the R`s in the summer of 2013 and was released the following summer having not made a senior appearance.

 

He joined AFC Wimbledon and over three seasons he made 13 appearances scoring once.

 

He had a spell on loan with Tonbridge Angels in 2015, scoring once in 9 games and in the 2016/17 season he scored twice in 9 games on loan to Torquay United.

 

He was released by the Dons in the summer and joined Barrow AFC in June 2017.

 

A year later he returned south to sign for Dorking Wanderers but left after three months to join Kingstonian.
