....been switched back to the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League, have made several new signings.

Manager Rob Smith has added midfielder Jermain Hollis from Coalville Town to his squad.

The box-to-box 31-year-old midfielder caught the eye of many last season, particularly against the Pitmen at Keys Park.

Hollis began his career at Eastwood Town before playing in the Football League for Kidderminster Harriers.

After playing for a host of East Midland non-League sides Hollis linked up with Coalville last season – playing almost 50 games in the process.

Following the signing Smith told his club`s official website: “I’m really pleased to be able to bring Jermain to the football club.

“He brings experience, strength and energy to us – something that I think we need to add to our squad.

“Hopefully fans will enjoy his box-to-box nature and along with his great attitude I think he is going to be a big player for us.”

Hednesford also announced the signings of Sam Griffiths and Josh Craddock on non-contract deals from former Northern Premier League rivals Stafford Rangers.

Griffiths, who plays predominantly at right-back, will also offer versatility with him being able to play at centre-half.

The 25-year-old began his career with Wolves, moving to Brentford in 2012 and spending time on trial with the Pitmen in the summer of 2014 before linking up with Rangers.

Craddock, 27, meanwhile returns for a third spell at Keys Park with him previously having helped the Pitmen into the play-offs at this level in 2010.

After returning to the club in 2015 he then moved on to Stafford – where he become an instrumental part of their team, captaining the side last season.

Smith added: “I am delighted to have signed all three players. Matt was one of the real bright sparks from last season, he improved with every game – this despite playing out of position. If he continues to improve we will have difficulty keeping hold of him.

“Sam has been a regular for Stafford for the past three seasons and brings strength, athleticism, and experience at this level. You know what you get from Sam week in week out and he will be an excellent addition.

“Josh’s signing will prove massive for the football club. When he was with us before he had plenty of personal issues, but he is in a very good place now, and his performances for Stafford have been first class. He is a leader in every way and that is why Neil Kitching made him his captain.”

Nathan Fox and Jed Davies have also joined the Pitmen.

Left-back Fox, 25, began his career with Notts County before joining Corby Town in 2012.

Loan moves to Kettering Town and Rugby Town followed before a more permanent deal with Stamford AFC.

Most recently he has been with Redditch United – with the manager pleased to be able to add some stability to that side of the field.

Smith said: “Nathan a very consistent performer at left back, a position where we were desperate for a left-sider in order to give us balance.”

Davies, meanwhile, is no stranger to Keys Park having spent a month on loan with the Pitmen last season.

However, the majority of that time was spent off the field after picking up an injury in his first game.

The former Tamworth man, 23, made a name for himself at Romulus before being snapped up by the Lambs and impressing with displays on loan at Chasetown.

Following the signing Smith said: “I really like Jed – even in short glimpse of him that we had we saw what a good player he is. He is a playmaker in middle of park and will really add something different for us.”

Experienced striker Justin Richards has also switched to Keys Park.

Richards (pictured) began his career with West Bromwich Albion before playing in the Football League with Bristol Rovers, Colchester United, Peterborough United, Cheltenham Town, Port Vale, Burton Albion and Oxford United as well as a handful of non-League sides.

He was most recently with Sutton Coldfield Town – a club he helped to promotion to this level of football – before Smith moved to bring him to Keys Park.

Smith said: “We have been chasing Justin for a while. He brings great experience, strength and most importantly goals to any team. We had several meetings with Justin, he is in top class condition, and what stood out was his tremendous attitude.

“I think he will be a big character for myself and Larry who will not suffer fools in the dressing room which is exactly the attitude we need. I’m delighted to welcome him to the club”.
