Frontrunner
Taylor Townsend arrives from Pitching In Southern League Premier Division
Alvechurch, while Taylor Morrison moves from Church`s league rivals Redditch
United.
Townsend
is a 19-year-old pacey forward who signed for Alvechurch in September.
He
was previously an academy scholar at Premier League Wolverhampton Wanderers.
He
is a highly promising forward with fast feet and an eye for goal who played
regularly for Wolves under-18s before being released.
Morrison (pictured),
21, is a left-sided player who is equally comfortable in midfield or defence.
He
started his career with West Bromwich Albion and progressed through to the
under-21s at The Hawthorns before being released at the end of the 2017/18
season.
He
signed for Alvechurch in the summer of 2018 but left for Southern Premier
Central rivals Stratford Town in November 2018, only to return to Church in
February 2019.
Younger
brother of Kyle, he moved to Southern Division One South club Evesham United in
late August 2019 and then re-signed for Alvechurch in January 2020 and then
moved to league rivals Redditch in August 2020.
