Gladiators Buy Keeper From The Imps

....Richard Walton for an undisclosed fee from SkyBet League Two side Lincoln City.

The 20-year-old was on loan with the Gladiators for the last two months of last season and played proved a bit hit and developed a good relationship with supporters.

Walton had been with the Imps for at least three years but was very keen to join the Gladiators.

He also had loan spells with Lincoln United, Gainsborough Trinity, Spalding United, Bishop`s Stortford and Cleethorpes Town whilst on City`s books.

His only first-team outing for the Imps was as an unused substitute in the League Two win over Newport County in late-January.
