New at Oak Tree Road are Devontae Romeo, Chid Onokwai, Sam Bangura, Tristan Campbell, McKoy Palmer, Lewis Workman and Charlie Samuel

Formerly with Hungerford Town, Romeo is a creative midfielder who returns to the club having featured for Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division side Highmoor-Ibis (now Reading City) last season before suffering an ankle injury.

Bartley told the club`s website: “He’s fully recovered and raring to go now and his quality and ability are widely known amongst the Marlow faithful and I’m delighted to have him back at the club.”

Onokwai is a strong-running frontman who will add physicality to Marlow`s attack.

He featured for Marlow during the club`s play-off season, having scored an impressive 34 goals the previous season in the Essex Senior League for Eton Manor.

He returns from Bostik North side Romford having also been on the books at Thame United Stansted, Bowers & Pitsea, Aylesbury United, Aylesbury FC and Ware.

Bangura is another to return to the club, having had to focus on his University studies last year.

A versatile and consistent former Chelsea youth player, who was a cornerstone of the defence that took us to the play-offs in 2016/17.

Campbell is a cultured ball-player who is equally at home in the middle of midfield or at full-back.

Originally on the books at Reading, he also numbers Highmoor-Ibis, Beaconsfield SYCOB and Binfield amongst his previous clubs.

Bartley said: “Tristan is a player with game understanding beyond his years and I look forward to working with and bringing the best out of, him this season.”

Palmer has been training with Marlow since the latter half of last season, having previously been with the Bracknell Town development squad.

Bartley said: “He has tremendous natural ability, and I view him as a great talent with a superb attitude to match. I expect McKoy, who is an attacking midfield player, will make a telling contribution for us this season.”

Workman is a pacey front man who was previously in the Marlow youth team.

He has since gone on to score over 60 goals for Aston Clinton in the Spartan South Midland League over the last few seasons.

Bartley added: “I’m looking forward to helping Lewis transfer that goalscoring knack to the Southern League during the course of the season.”

Samuel is a livewire front player who was prolific for Marlow last season, before finishing the season with Hellenic League side Flackwell Heath.

His other former clubs include Uxbridge, Molesey and Burnham.
