Forward
Chris Assombalonga (pictured) and wide player Glenn Yala Bolasie have checked into the Sit
Halley Stewart Fields.
The
older brother of Nottingham Forest striker Britt Asombalonga, Chris joined Dagenham
& Redbridge from Waltham Abbey in July 2016 after scoring 31 goals in 34
appearances the previous season.
He
had signed for the Daggers in June 2016 on a two-year deal, and made 14
appearances, scoring one goal and getting one assist and also had loan spells
with St Albans City and Whitehawk whilst at Victoria Road.
He
joined Billericay Town on a permanent deal in January 2017 and then returned to
Waltham Abbey the following August and then joined up with Chelmsford City in
October 2017 after notching 7 goals in 10 games.
Spells
with Hornchurch and Royston Town followed before he returned once again to
Waltham Abbey.
Bolasie
is the younger brother of Everton and DR Congo international winger Yannick
Bolasie.
He
can play at wing back or out wide in the midfield.
His
previous clubs are Chalfont St Peter, North Greenford United, Boreham Wood and,
most recently, Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division side Aylesbury
