Former
Enfield favourite Harold Joseph has re-signed for the club after three years
away.
The
25-year-old returns from Vanarama National League South side Welling United,
where he had been since January 2020.
He
had joined the Wings from Southern Premier Central side Royston Town, where he
had been since November 2018 from Harlow Town.
He
is a big, strong defender who has played the majority of his career in the
upper levels of non-League football.
He
started at Barnet, then in League Two, before spells at Stevenage, Wingate
& Finchley and Hayes & Yeading United.
He
spent two seasons with Enfield between 2015 and 2017 where his impressive
performances caught the eye of St Albans City at the start of the 2017/18,
before he joined Harlow three months into the 2018/19 campaign.
Leese
has also signed 25-year-old goalkeeper Dan Lincoln on a short-term arrangement
as cover for Nathan McDonald, who picked up a nasty facial injury at Carshalton
Athletic recently.
Lincoln (pictured) joined Southern League Premier Division South side Hayes & Yeading United
in February 2020 from National League South outfit Hampton & Richmond
Borough, where he had been since September 2019.
He
spent the previous summer playing cricket for Middlesex, making 3 first XI
appearances in the Twenty20 competition and appeared as a fielding sub for
England in the Ashes; before that, he had spent three seasons with Bognor Regis
Town, making over 100 appearances for the Rocks in that time.
He
came up through the Reading youth system, signing a professional contract in
2013.
After
spending time on loan with Metropolitan Police, Harrow Borough, Farnborough and
Nuneaton Town, he moved to Hungerford Town and then to Hayes & Yeading,
where he made 20 appearances in the 2015/16 season.
There
was a brief spell at Basingstoke Town before he moved to the Rocks in 2016. |
