Twenty-three-year-old Derry (pictured) started his career with Gillingham.

After his release from the Priestfield Stadium, he had spells with Eastbourne Borough, Aldershot Town, Hayes & Yeading United, Kingstonian and Leatherhead, who he joined in January 2018.

Manager John Coventry told his club`s website: “Tom Derry will fit perfectly for what I’m trying to achieve next season.”

Also, defender Ashley Miller has agreed to join the Rocks.

The full-back spent the majority of the 2014/15 season with East Thurrock before ending that season with Bishop’s Stortford.

After starting out at West Ham United, Miller went on to play for Concord Rangers and had two spells with Chelmsford City.

Coventry added: “Ashley has been with us previously and it’s great that he wanted to re-join our club”.
