The
Eagles acted swiftly following the clubs heavy defeat to Stockport Town last
Wednesday, they parted company with Proudlock and opted for a familiar name in
Dale, who is a former manager at the club.
Dale
has also worked at nearby Newcastle Town and in a statement released by the
club, said: "Dave met with the club chairman Neil Washington and secretary Jim Tunney and after a positive discussion agreed to take on the managerial
role at the club.
“He
is looking forward to the challenge of turning around a team which currently
lies in one of the relegation spots in Division One South”. |
