The 22-year-old has played over 50 games for the likes of Zimbru Chisnau, CSF Speranta, Milsami Orhei and Codru Lozova in the Moldovan Premier League, one appearance in the Europa Cup and has represented Moldova at under-17 and under-19 level.

He plays as a central striker or can operate out wide on the left, utilising his gifted left foot.

Ibrian recently moved to the UK from Moldova and has been training with the squad for the last few weeks, and has shown enough for Avenue to sign him to see if he can be effective in the physical National League North and fill a much-needed central striker position.

Manager Mark Bower told https://bpafc.com: “Ion is a great finisher and has impressed us in training with an eye for goal. It is an area we are short in, so we look forward to working more with Ion to improve his all-round game and try to make the most of his finishing ability”.
