The 21-year-old established himself as a firm crowd favourite in his first spell with the Quakers, scoring 7 goals in 17 appearances, including 3 in the Emirates FA Cup that helped the club into the First Round last season.

O'Neill was recalled by Boro's then head coach Jonathan Woodgate and made his senior debut for the club as a substitute at Elland Road against Leeds United.

The academy graduate has also had a stint on loan with National League side Hartlepool United.
