Henley is a full back with significant pedigree.

A product of the Blackburn Rovers youth system, the 26-year-old made nearly 100 appearances for Rovers in the Premier League and Championship, as well as appearing twice for Wales in the lead up to Euro 2016.

An eighteen-month spell with Real Salt Lake in Major League Soccer followed, before 27 games in League Two with Bradford City last season.

Chorley manager Jamie Vermiglio, who earlier signed another former Blackburn player in Willem Tomlinson, told https://www.chorleyfc.com: “Adam has been training with us for a few weeks and has shown great athleticism, improving fitness and a strong desire to be involved.

“Both Adam and Will bring a lot of Football League experience and impressive references. I’m hoping they can help to raise our standards further as we continue to improve as a squad”.
