Revell (pictured), the brother of former Cambridge United and Rotherham striker Alex Revell, who is currently in charge of League Two side Stevenage, took the Town helm in March 2020 – only a couple of games before the initial lockdown period.

Revell appeared for local sides Eynesbury Rovers, Royston Town and Potton United during his own playing career, before moving into management to take charge of Bedfordshire County League outfit Cranfield United.

He led them to a runners-up finish, while also having two successful spells at Potton United.

Huntingdon revealed that Revell had left the club to pursue other football-related interests.

Huntingdon have moved quickly to appoint Wilkins Makate as their new player-manager.

The former Blackstones, Peterborough Sports, Peterborough Northern Star and Long Sutton Athletic midfielder had been signed by Revell as a player.
