Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division club Ardley United have signed midfielder Jamar Smith on loan from Pitching In Southern League Division One Central side Thame United ready for the season`s restart in December.

Smith earned a place in Thame`s squad for 2020/21 after impressing in pre-season.

 

A Jamaican under-17 international, he joined Thame`s league rivals and neighbours Kidlington at the start of the 2019/20 season.

 

He originally played in their development team in the Hellenic League Division One East before making his mark in the senior side later in the campaign ahead of lockdown.

 

Manager Jules McCalmon told https://ardleyunitedfc.co.uk: “I am delighted to get Jam Jam in, he’s the type of player to give us a bit of magic at the top end of the pitch and get the fans off their seats.

 

“I want to thank Mark West and Thame United for allowing the move and we at Ardley will look after Jamar for the time he’s at the club”.
