Laight Returns to Steels
Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One South East club Stocksbridge Park Steels have announced that Ryan Laight has been appointed as first team coach with immediate effect.

Laight returns to the club after a three-year absence and joins Chris Hilton and Lee Thompson to make up the management of the first team.

 

Laight started his career at Barnsley and went on to play at several non-League clubs, including Matlock Town, Wakefield, Ossett Town, Ossett Albion and Worsbrough Bridge and enjoyed some good years as the Steels centre-half before retiring and also spent a few seasons as assistant manager at .

 

After completing his coaching badges, he became a part of the Sheffield United coaching team and is now head of Sheffield United Community Foundation.

 

He now feels he needs a further challenge and has offered his services back at the club that he has so much passion for.
