The
much-travelled striker, who turns 29 next month, had only been with Melksham
since September.
Barcelos,
who originates from the Brazilian town of Dourados, moved to the UK as a
teenager.
He
progressed through the ranks at Oxford City and had spells with Banbury United,
Grantham Town and Cirencester Town and had a season at ASD Santhia in Italian
Serie D but is perhaps best known for playing a key role in Didcot Town’s
successful 2017/18 season when he scored 27 league and cup goals and was also
named managers` and players` player of the year.
After
beginning the 2017/18 season at Didcot, he had brief spells with Moneyfields
and Stratford Town before returning to the Loop Meadow in February 2019.
He
joined Thatcham Town in June 2019 and then switched to Isthmian League South
Central side Bracknell Town exactly a year later before joining Melksham. |
