Allen
joined Forest Green from Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central outfit
Nuneaton Borough in April 2019.
The
now 20-year-old made 10 appearances for Boro after joining in January 2019 from
Romulus FC, being given the opportunity by manager Jimmy Ginnelly and saw out
the remainder of the 2018/19 campaign at Liberty Way before moving to The New
Lawn.
The
left-footer, who can play wide left or as a striker, had a trial with Forest
Green earlier in the 2018/19 season and turned down opportunities to sign with
clubs as high as the Premier League to put pen-to-paper on a one-year deal with
Rovers.
Allen
has previously had loan spells with Hereford FC, Gloucester City and Hednesford
Town, where he spent one-month on loan during October.
He
makes the move to the New Windmill Ground to link up with Paul Holleran's men
ahead of their match with York City today. |
